After taking at least 10,000 photos in the past 10 months, I certainly hope I'm getting a little better at my composition, if nothing else. For the last 4 months, I've been using a Canon Digital IXUS 860 IS (called a PowerShot Digital Elph in the USA). :) Thanks so much for the feedback!
