A good friend recently bought me a great map/guide for Zurich that came with special code to access an online database at http://www.alacartemaps.com – ideal for creating your own itinerary

Hi Shannon, thanks for your feedback. Your blog looks good and it's always great to hear from others discovering Couchsurfing. I have found a great community here in Medellin, and it has allowed me to meet more locals in Colombia than almost any other country I have visited!

Viva Couchsurfing!

Hey! I just wanted to pop in and say hi - I am on my own traveling adventure and actually used some tips and the such from your site when I was packing and getting ready to go.

Anyway, I had some great couchsurfing experiences in Australia and love that site!! It is such a great way to get to know locals and see a town through something other than a Lonely Planet :)
