When I stated Puerto Rico was the salsa capital, he said "no, it's Cali." The funny thing is he doesn't like to dance with the Colombian women because their style is so different from what he's use to. But when I saw him dance with one of the "house" (professional) dancers who could follow his lead, he clearly had a lot of skill. Traveler –

I've been dancing in both LA and San Fran (and Puerto Rico) and nothing compares to NYC. :-) Unless you're talking about a style difference between east coast and west coast salsa, there's no beating the New York scene!
