I'm glad the post sparked some memories. I am currently entrenched in building up GoBackpacking to be one of the top independent travel blogs on the internet! If I'm successful, perhaps I can use it as a vehicle to travel abroad for another long trip. That's my hope at least.

The weather here is typical Fall - grey and increasingly chilly, with rain forecast for the weekend. But, I love this time of year, and I missed it completely in 2008.

Glad you made it back to England in one piece!

In the Spring I will be traveling to India for about 5 months, then backpacking Europe for about 2 months. I’m having trouble finding an affordable, durable pack to take on my trip. It is strange to realize that you’ll be back “home” in 48 hours. As travelers we always feel like we are so far away from home and what we know, and yet in a just a matter of hours you can be back to all of that. See you tonight!
