When people think of Peru, most think of Machu Picchu. There are endless sites to see and most are good but some can be really expensive (Machu Picchu is $50+ USD). So it was a welcome relief while in Lima to find the Park of Reserve. Built only a few years ago, it contains 13 fountains and holds the Guinness World Record for the largest public water complex in the world.
The best part of the park, besides the unique fountains, is that it only costs S./4 ($1.40 USD) to get in. Even the tightest backpacker can afford this place and one can easily burn 2-3hrs here. The park is located in down-town Lima near the Miraflores District between two of the city’s principal streets, the Paseo de la Republica expressway and Arequipa Avenue. It is open Wednesday through Sunday from 4:00 pm till 11:00 pm. Best time to go is right at sunset and be sure not to miss the laser show at the Fuente de la FantasÃa (Fantasy Fountain).
Comment on which fountain you think is the best.
Fuente Mágica (Magic Fountain)
Fuente de la Vida (Fountain of Life)
Fuente de la Cúpula Visitable (The Walk in Dome Fountain): Couple dancing in the fountain...love was in the air!
Fuente Tanguis (some famous guy fountain)
Fuente de la FantasÃa (Fantasy Fountain)
Fuente del Arco Iris (The Rainbow Fountain)
Fuente del Túnel de las Sorpresas (Tunnel of Surprise Fountain): It's 35m long and you can walk all the way through it.
Fuente del Túnel de las Sorpresas (Tunnel of Surprise Fountain)
Fuente de la ArmonÃa (Harmony Fountain)
Fuente Laberinto de Ensueno (The Maze of Dreams Fountain)

I'm gonna have to go with Fuente de la Vida! I love the gorgeous twisted spire in the middle! What a gorgeous park! :-)
This is a tough choice. If I'm forced to pick one, I'd go with the Fuente del Túnel de las Sorpresas because you can walk through it.
You hear about Machu Picchu all the time, but never this fountain park which looks stunning!

Near Christmas 2010, I visited Fountain park. That day, there was a combination of video and water show in the park. It was realy magic night including many lights on the trees and Santa. As of yours photos, my favorite is Fuente magica. But all of them are very nice.
