This video is a trailer for Tell It On the Mountain, a movie about the 2,650-mile Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) which runs from western Canada through the USA and down into Mexico.
It is one of the three big hikes available in the US, the other two being the 3,100-mile Continental Divide Trail (CDT) and 2,160-mile Appalachian Trail (AT).

Thanks for the link. I had a blast doing the John Muir Trail this year but don't know if I'll ever have the will to do the entire PCT.
I met an Aussie who did the PCT in about 3.5 months and I found it fascinating to hear how he had to manage carrying water through the desert parts. Seems like a big undertaking – not one for the casual hiker.
