Thanks for posting this video Dave. I have unwittingly been on the Gringo Trail in S E Asia. I repeatedly bumped into backpackers that I had met in other areas and even in other countries. I suppose a lot of the credit/blame derives from the guide books that everyone seems to pour over. We all should think long and hard about our impacts on popular areas regardless of how we all end up in any given spot on the map, be it from word of mouth recommendations from fellow backpackers or from the Lonely Planet that everyone on the bus has.
