This video shows a performance of Cambinda Brasileira, a Maracatu Group, from Nazare da Mata, near Recife - Pernambuco, northeastern Brazil. This group was established in 1918. Maracatu evolved as a fusion of pre-existing forms of Carnival revelry. It is considered to be Afro-indigenous in origin. These figures are called Caboclo de Lança, something like 'speared mestizo'.
You can hear the original music at the end of the video.
