Today, I’m excited to share the release of a free eBook, Celebrating Latin America at Ground Level (click link to view/save).
Compiled by Steven Roll of the Travelojos blog, Celebrating Latin America at Ground Level includes 29 first-hand accounts of what it’s like to travel and live in Central and South America.
Each story is about 250 words in length, so they’re the perfect escape when you need a break from work or school, however each is packed with vivid language and lessons learned. Experiences from Mexico to Argentina are covered, and almost everywhere in between.
The eBook kicks off with Lauren Quinn’s experience traveling abroad for the first time, to Colombia of all places! Followed by Ernest White’s humorous observations of life in Caracas on a typical Sunday. A few of my blogging buddies also contributed, including Ayngelina Brogan and Abby Tegnelia.
My contribution, entitled Salsa (p. 28), was inspired by a typical Saturday night out in a Colombian discoteca this past July. It’s the kind of experience I had early on last year that lead me to want to spend 6 months out of every 12 based here in Medellin.
It’s free, and it’s awesome, so check out Celebrating Latin America at Ground Level for yourself right now.
And don’t be shy, share this link or ebook with friends, family and coworkers too!

Thanks Nathan, I think Steven, along with Hop&Jaunt, did a great job putting it together.
